By accessing and using Windwood Health Clinic's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Medical Services

Appointments

  • Appointments must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or in person
  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time
  • Late arrivals may result in shortened consultations or rescheduling
  • Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance
  • Repeated missed appointments may result in discharge from the practice

Consultations

  • All medical advice is provided by qualified, registered healthcare professionals
  • Consultations are confidential and conducted in a professional manner
  • You must provide accurate medical history and current symptoms
  • Follow-up appointments may be required based on clinical need

Fees and Payments

  • Fees are displayed on our website and are subject to change
  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and insurance
  • Insurance claims are subject to your policy terms and conditions
  • Unpaid balances may be referred to debt collection agencies

Patient Responsibilities

As a patient, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete medical information
  • Following prescribed treatment plans
  • Informing us of any changes to your contact details or medical history
  • Respecting staff, other patients, and clinic property
  • Paying for services in a timely manner

Prescriptions

  • Prescriptions are issued only when clinically appropriate
  • Repeat prescriptions require regular reviews
  • Controlled substances are prescribed in accordance with UK regulations
  • Prescription requests may take up to 48 hours to process

Medical Records

  • We maintain accurate medical records in accordance with professional standards
  • You have the right to access your records (subject to legal restrictions)
  • Record requests may incur an administrative fee
  • Records are retained in accordance with NHS and legal guidelines

Emergencies

In case of medical emergency, call 999 immediately. Our services are not suitable for urgent or emergency care. For urgent medical advice outside our opening hours, contact NHS 111.

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with medical ethics and UK law. Information may be shared only with your consent or when required by law (e.g., safeguarding concerns, public health risks).

Complaints

We take complaints seriously and aim to resolve them promptly. To make a complaint, please contact our Practice Manager at complaints@windwood.health.

Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide excellent care, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by our regulatory bodies.
